Falcão and Ricardinho will serve as captains of Team 12 and Team 10, named in honor of their storied jersey numbers.

The match will take place August 4, 2016 in Orlando, Florida at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

“I am excited to participate in the inaugural PFL All-Star Showcase,” Falcão said. “This is an important moment for the sport and I hope that this match helps to spread the growth of futsal in North America.”

Falcão was part of the PFL SuperCopa 2015, the first professional futsal match at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

“I am honored to join Falcão this year in Disney this August,” Ricardinho said. “Just as I have the chance to live my dream as a professional futsal player, I am hopeful that soon, PFL will be able to give kids around the world the same opportunity.”

Rob Andrews, PFL President of International Affairs, said he commends the dedication of both world class superstars and looks forward to the impact of their influence on futsal in North America.

“It is remarkable that Falcão and Ricardinho have offered to give up what few vacation days they have in a World Cup year in order to help the PFL build the sport,” Andrews said. “Their commitment solidifies my opinion that the only thing more impressive than what they do on the court every week is the sacrifice they both are willing to make for the growth of the game.”

Fans can attend the PFL All-Star Showcase by purchasing a ticket to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort ($17 adult, $12 child). Disney Season Pass holders and World Futsal Championship participants will receive FREE admission.

“This will be a great opportunity for futsal and sports fans to experience world class futsal that the PFL is bringing to North America in 2018,” said PFL CEO Michael Hitchcock. “Our goal is to host the biggest futsal event in the world this year, featuring the World’s All Stars and some of the top undiscovered futsal players from around the world. Our hope is this event will help inspire the next Ricardinho and Falcão to pursue their dream of playing in the PFL while showcasing the beautiful game to thousands of passionate youth futsal players and futsal fans in August.”
